About me

Bonjour, Hai !
My name is Esa and I founded Passerelle with a clear intention:
to help people move across languages and cultures with confidence and clarity.

Language has always been more than a subject to me. It is a structure of thought, a reflection of culture, and a bridge between worlds.

Passerelle means “bridge” in French.

I chose this name because it reflects what I aim to build with every learner:
a seamless passage between knowledge and practice, between language and culture.

Whether you are preparing to study in France or working in Indonesia, I believe language should empower you — not limit you.

Academic Foundation

My academic background combines French linguistics and corporate communication.

I hold a Master’s degree from Sorbonne Université in Paris, where I deepened my understanding of communication in academic and professional environments. My earlier studies in French linguistics provided the structural foundation that continues to shape my teaching approach today.

This dual perspective — linguistic precision and communication strategy — informs every session I design.

Teaching Experience

Since 2014, I have taught French language and supported learners from diverse backgrounds:

  • Students preparing for academic programs in France

  • Candidates working toward DELF and DALF certifications

  • Professionals navigating French-speaking environments

  • International learners building Indonesian fluency

Over the years, I have worked with individuals who required more than language instruction — they needed clarity, structure, and cultural understanding.

Having studied in France, and working continuously between French and Indonesian contexts, I understand that communication challenges are rarely only linguistic.
